Credit Report

Hi Money Savers!
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

I just got my credit report through Credit Expert from Experian.

No dramas getting the details, but,

I would like to know if the old credit cards on my file which are highlighted in Green and noted Settled can be removed from my file, also old addresses which I haven't lived at for more than 3 years?

Thanks for any help

  • Why would you want to? Settled means all money that has been owed is paid back. You'd want a lender to see that I would have thought.

Anyways, info like that drops off the report after 6 years.
  • Good point I didn't think about that.
The main reason I wanted the report was to ensure all my details were squared away!

    Thanks!

No you can't get it removed, but it sounds like it's good payment history which is what lenders want to see.
