Paypal Micropayments note

If you have applied for micro payments but got an email saying something like "were sorry your account is not suitable for micro payments etc". Check your paypal account anyway because they said I couldn't have micro payments but they have actually changed my account to this pricing scheme. Only paid 15p fee on a payment this morning :o

Thanks for that just to add you can only change to a micro payments if you have a premier or business account. Its well worth doing if you sell a lot of items for under £10. I've used one for over a year now for all my low value items. I think paypal don't like to tell people it exists and that they can reduce there costs

  • If you applied for micropayments, make sure they DID change it :D
I got an email in 2006 telling me it had been done... got round to using the account for the first time this month - standard fees!
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

It would have been 27p I think. Only 12p difference but when you sell lots of items around the £2- £4 mark like I do, it adds up!
