Thinking of changing from Barclays Merchant Services to Allied Irish Bank Merchant Services.
This is thro Acceptcards.co.uk.
Getting a lot better deal.......and as far as I can see the same terms
BMS
Commercial Credit Cards 1.77%
Personal Credit Cards 1.5%
Debit Cards .20p
Portable Terminal £22.50 plus vat.
Freephone Number dial out

Allied Irish MS

Commercial Credit Cards 1.25%
Personal Credit Cards 1.25%
Debit Cards .17p
Portable Terminal £22.50 plus vat.
Freephone Number dial out

Has anybody had any experience with Allied Irish MS ????

Thing is with barlcays and some of them, might add you on a delayed settlement and you will only know once you apply.

Im with barlcays and they are good. Not far off your rate, the terminal they can offer at £16, ask them. Not sure its a Freephone Number dial out as barclays dials a 0845. Search this forum for other providers and ask them for a quote.

Thats not a bad rate id say. Not far off what im paying with barclays. Also note, the rates are set on what you say to them and your sector usually. Ask each company for a quote in writing.

Hi Mervyn

I am using Allied Irish Bank for my Card Processing, i too was forwarded to them by acceptcards.co.uk and find them absolutely fine.

I haven't used anyone else for this service to be honest so i'm not really comparing it to anything but the machine works fine, the charges are good and what i was quoted, the customer service centre is in Basildon i believe and i have never had to hold to speak to someone.

I'd definitely recommend them!
