Bookie have you thought about taking a lodger? Would that give you the extra income on top of a wage? I know it's not ideal but if it saves you having to sell up then it's got to be worth a thought?"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0

I think personally then, I would be tempted to get the house on the market, because at least then that gives you an element of control. If they reposess, they could sell for less than the outstanding mortgage and leave you still in debt but with no house to show for it. If you sell it yourself, I would think you're more likely to get closer to what it is worth.
Hard though it must be to leave behind a place that has been your home for a long time, imagine a nice warm house, with affordable rent and bills, and enough money to live on. You would be happier, less stressed, and anyone who was a real friend wouldn't even think about judging you for it."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Bookie, remember the banks solicitor is not on your side.
I think Pooky's idea's great, you can earn something like 4k tax free from a lodger.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

For any of you still waiting for your Hotel Chocolate delivery, I have just spoken to them to find out where mine are: due to an unforseen high take up of their offer, they have had to make a new batch - these will be sent out via Royal Mail sometime this week...0

Cant you specify it in the places you will post to?
I had a bid from a Nigerian with no feedback on a phone I sold - I just deleted the bid. As long as you've said you wont post outside the UK, I don't think there's any probem with doing that."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

There's a way of blocking bidders from outside the UK but I'm not sure how, if you ask on the ebay board they'll be able to tell you.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
