Friends of ours have just adopted their second child, its been a really long agonising wait for them, they already have one adopted son who is nearly 4.
We want to get them a card but can only find the "congrats on the birth of" sort which aren't really appropriate, does anyone know if these sort of cards are availiable, we also would like one for the little boy, on becoming a big brother. I have asked at our local WH Smiths, and tried the card shops in the town but no joy. Also can anyone suggest any wording or sentiment i could use especially for the little one. Thanks

Arent there any standard birth cards with the wording 'arrival' rather than birth?*** Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly ***

Phoenix cards do some lovely cards and the great thing is the majority are blank inside

there were a few but the wording inside then said birth, think my only hope is a blank card with a kiddie themed picturei'm living in a parallel universe0

This one is gorgeous, and if the child is still under a year I would say that would be suitable.
Alternatively you could go to Hobbycraft and purchase a few items to stick on a black card, you can also buy from there, that would make it all the more personal.0 -
Moonpig do personalised cards where you can personalise the wordings on the front and the inside of them. think the webaddress is wwww.moonpig.com. Hope this helps (cards can be posted directly to the person, or sent with envelope to yourself, about £3 a card.Mortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.
