Might be a bit late with this one but-BBCi player is now available as a free download to your console (Handy Sometimes) Also the software download to use the internet on your TV is now free.
It was 500 Wii points (£3-50) and as its now free Nintendo will let you have a free game download (upto 5oo points) if you paid in the past,But this must be downloaded before the end of the year,I only noticed today as was flicking through the messages i never usually read.

Thanks for posting. I downloaded it a couple of weeks ago. Handy to be able to watch Iplayer on your tv now (if you don't own a PS3 that is) if you don't want to watch on your computer.
Picture quality isn't too bad either.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £16,087.170
