  • I keep going and they keep telling me its just a seasonal cold and that they cant do anything for it! Grrrr....

I'm going to try out this recipe, using sainsburys basics veggie mince instead of meat:

I'll let you know if it turns out! looks yummy to me...

That does look amazing, just what's needed in this weather, I might make it myself tonight (with meat though :))

    Thanks for the link x

  • Enjoy! If you ever feel the need to try something new, the Sainsburys basics veggie mince is amazing - far better than that awful Quorn stuff! You can easily get most of the way through the meal before the meat eaters work out that something is up ;)

Thanks for the tip, we often eat veggie mince anyway as OH's chloresterol is high, even if I make a shepherds pie or summat with half and half :D

Jo, how did yours turn out? We just finished ours and it was yum yum yum indeed!

I didn't do it in the end, I decided to leave shopping till OH got in by which time the snow was coming down, took me 2 hours to get to Mr T's and back and it's only a mile away! So by the time I got back I was in no mood for cooking, so we had frozen pizza instead

I think I'll give it a go today though, I'll let you know how it turns out! Glad you enjoyed yours :)
