Lidl are about to do a Silvercrest CRB530 Bluetooth stereo which has all the specs I'm after but I cannot help but think I should pay £100 more and get a Sony MEX BT3700 for no good reason. I wouldn't even consider the Lidl one normally but I happen to have bought some binoculars and a telescope from Lidl over the previous 12 months which were definitely excellent quality. Does anyone have experience of this make and have advice?
Thanks

It looks pretty good, the only thing I would say is that the radio isn't going to work properly come the digital switch over, but that is true for all FM radios. Other than that, for that price, it's hard to see a down side. And you get a 3 year warranty. Wish the last radio I bought had had that...Fight Crime : Shoot Back.

Although a different make and model, aldi were doing a simmillar spec'd unit for £50.
Fairly simmillar features, but the aldi one has a card slot.
It's a great wee head unit for the money but the bluetooth sound quality is pretty poor.
Now the Lidl "silvercrest" one might be miles better but tbh for the same price I would expect the quality to be simmillar.0 -
i bought a dvd player from lidl have had i 5 years without a problem. both lidl and aldi value customer feedback to improve their products so this model may be an improved version of the previous one being a silverlight. plus 3 year warrenty you cant go wrong if they go wrong with sony you only have 12months after that you pay for repair. and if you dont like the stereo take it back their pretty good in giving your money back they dont ask questions either.0

Lidl (and Aldi) honour warrenties. I've got my eye out for another one.
I bought a bluetooth car stereo and its brill! I love it.
I also got an Aldi stereo for my partners car, but now I have another vehicle to purchase for... Aldi and Lidl stereos are what I want.0 -
