Good evening all....been panicking tonight(after doing the dinner dishes and tidying the LR!!!). It's not DD's Birthday till a week after Christmas so was quite chilled about it......till I realised that there are 3 days left in school and the party will be before they go back to school....need to book venue, get invites and take them to school in enough time to get replys!!!!!
Have preliminary(sp?) booked Pizza Hut online...waiting for a call(tomorrow prob) then I can get invites and take them to school for Wed........AM I LEAVING IT TOO LATE??????

Thanks for all the good wishes, quietly please with myself as its the first exam i have sat in ***years, have a couple more to do but feel more confident now.

List for tomorrow -
Tuesday - bathroom, study and other grotty places!
Clean the loo and the bath and the shower and the basins!
Defragment PC and run spyware scans while scrubbing the tiles and grout!
Declutter and vacuum/mop floors
Wash bathmats/shower curtain and furry bog hats
throw out any empty bottles.. decant dribbles into fuller bottles
Extras

1. Finalise those last minute presents you have to buy..
2. Wrap all the presents for family/friends/teachers etc
3. Finalise shopping orders/lists for your christmas food shop.. remember shops are only closed for one day!!!!

must do the extras tomorrow but not sure when working till 4 then DD2 school play at 6 and an online tutorial at 7.

Will catch up with all after work tomorrow till then hope all have a good day.

I made some jam and lemon tarts today and the pastry sucks. Cakes i can make but pastry is just not my thing. I used the recipie book and i have cold hands anyone any ideas tips or pointers they will be happily received xxx

Thanks Pigpen, the only problem is, I can't get to Pizza Hut to pick up the invites this week...I am busy every afternoon with concerts, Christmas dinner, and another party... and they don't open till 11'30 ....Do I hope I can get down there after DD finishes school(parking an issue at pizza hut that time of day) or do I but invitations before confirming and keep my fingers crossed ? TIA again xx

tooch - I don't think it's too late as long as you give invites before school closes and you put phone number on and specifically ask for them to ring about whether they can go or not

LadyL - hope you have a lovely evening, you need to relax a bit.

Diva - :jHappy Birthday:j I had a pleasant day, work and gym. OH was gong to take me out for a meal but we ended up having a chinese takaway cos that was what I really fancied (I'm just a cheap date:rotfl:)

No flying at all except I have put the gym clothes in the WM.

Sexymouse - fantastic news, the moronic deputy head may lay off now as she hasn't intimidated you into leaving.
