There, I think I've caught up. Blooming cold here this morning. My thermometer says it got down to -6 last night. I have lots to do today - including more shopping so I'm going to get some porridge inside me for breakfast and then go out and brave the cold. I think I'll walk into town then catch the bus back - there are likely to be silly drivers out there....I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

macpep1 - re Christmas and working. mt DH is on nights over xmas from Wed until 28th so I can understand your upset at him not being there in the afternoon. We like you have visitors in the morning then they leave and we have our lunch. I thought it was going to be just me and DD this year as DH will HAVE to be in bed asleep but DS has told me he will be at home instead of going to his dads and he WANTS a proper Christmas dinner bless him :rotfl:
Plan for today is ................. dont have one.
Think I might just whizz through the house doing a general straighten and hoover in all rooms habitable.
Wont be going out in the car to do my usual shop crawl as the car and gates need digging out and I'm not doing that.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
