Installing a roof DVD player

Anyone tried this?

I've seen a few roof mounted DVD players/screens which would keep the anklebiters entertained on long journeys. However, how hard are they to fit? Do they just screw into the roof?

I'm not bothered about the electrical side as I've fitted my own stereo and handsfree kit so am confident I can route the wiring and connect it all up. Just a bit worried about drilling into the roof!

But then I don't want to pay someone to do it if its just a case of a few small screws to secure it!

Thanks

Do you plan on keeping the car for a long period of time? If not, it may be worth get the type of screen that attachs to the back of the head rests & can be removed for added security. This the option I took after seeing a friends expensive install ripped out by thieving @**@*. They did an extensive amount of damage to seats & headlining with their quick removal methods.

To answer your original question, sorry haven't got a clue.

Problem is my car is a people carrier. I already have a single screen which I sort of hang in the middle of the car but its a pain.

I can't really position 2 screens on the back of headrests so all 4 kids can see. And buying 4 screens is frankly just never going to happen!

    Thanks
