interestingly the it looks like agents are onto Property Bee and how it works and are re-listing properties so that the history is unavailable as a newly listed property.
Got the exact address using streetview on the listing.
52 Antrobus Road, Acton Green, London. W4 5HZ
According to houseprices.co.uk, it last sold on 11/02/2005 for £630,000.

Gosh, so 950K does seem rather wishful thinking.
How entertaining.0 -
Don't people think this is a regional story with a London-centric viewpoint?
It isn't really surprising that the capital is awash with cash, given the unprecedented events of the last 18 months. Some of that money will surely end up in property.
However, I'm not sure the same phenomena is happening elsewhere.0 -

You viewed it Chucky? Are you thinking of downsizing?
Just for the record, number 61 is also for sale. It's almost opposite the other house... just a few doors down.
3 bedroom terraced house for sale Antrobus Road, London
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-13221144.html
£599,950 (Under offer.)
It's been switching between available and under offer since August 2009. Perhaps the offers fall through for financing or not being able to sell their own homes, but it seems to be attracting more attention.
I can see why your house listed has more appeal... and is all cribbed out, but £350,000 worth of more appeal? And we'll see if £599,950 house falls through again and has to lowering their asking price.0 -
I thought the decor was vile. Designed to appeal to someone with no taste of their own but a desire to impress.
And a love of very claustrophobic toilets.0 -

i viewed it last November/December when i was looking...
it has lots of appeal it's been interior designed, the spec of all the appliances and bathrooms is high quality. even the garden has been landscaped. have a look at it on the Foxtons site - it's even better on there. it is a very nice place, not a family home though but still very nice.
however, more importantly it is still overpriced.
the three bed that you've found isn't great, it's smaller - i think that is slightly over priced for what it is too.0 -
£335k for a 1 bed in Shepherds Bush....I stopped reading at this point as my eyes spontaneously combusted. They are an EYESORES!!!!0
