Directlocks now trading as Intercitylocks. Be very careful.

If you want locks, window handles and other security products be very careful indeed. Various people have in the past posted warning notices about Dilock Ltd trading on the web as www.directlocks.co.uk.

The web address now mentions that there is "new management" and the company is trading as Intercitylocks Ltd. It is possible this is a genuinely new company but past experience suggests you should definitely be on your guard - it is possible that the shysters who ran Dilock Ltd are behind the new company Intercitylocks. The signs are not good - if you go to www.directlocks.co.uk you will have to look hard for a physical contact address (there is one tucked away in the terms and conditions, and lo and behold it is 339 Caledonian Road, London, N1 1DW, the same address as Dilocks Ltd) and there is an 0844 telephone number but no other landline number. The terms and conditions also mention under the privacy section a company called Lock UK Ltd - there is no other mention of Lock UK Ltd anywhere on the web site.

We will know pretty soon if people find they have ordered goods, had their credit or debit card debited and no goods ever delivered. In the meantime be careful.

All of these would ring (Forgive the pun) alarm bells with me

Have just done battle with these mongerals, an absolute scam merchant AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Luckly paid with PayPal and they interveined and gave me a full refund. Mr. Graham Charlton, of 129 Pasteur Gardens, N18 1AH is the owner and he has a history of winding up companies.
So BEWARE to ALL!!
