digital sender for ntl pace?

Hi

Can anyone give me advice on the best non wire sender for my pace ntl box - I want the channels in another room and also be able to change the channel from that room - at the moment they all seem very expensive.

can anyone help with advice on where to get the best deals

  • PAce digital boxes use the irda standard for controls , not the infrared.You will be looking at 45-75 quid , make sure your not running anything else on the 2.4ghz band like some dodgy foreign widearea phone , or wireless network uses it too.

    However the sender unit usually has a choice of 4 channels , as should any wireless unit.

    Tesco , and maplin both do an irda sender BUT m,ake sure it says it on the box IRDA , or youll end up with just a sender and no ability to send the remote.
