Hi all,
just had an offer accepted on a house. Would like to do a bit of a refurb on it. Can anybody give me a estimate on how much all this would cost?
heres a plan

So basically, as well as painting and carpeting the whole house, i want to seperate the lounge and dining room (probably with a stud wall, gut the kitchen and put a new one in, and make the toliet and bathroom all one room and put a new suite in.
I would also want to move the combi boiler from the bedroom to the kitchen if possible
just a ball park figure would be great

The first thing I'd do is put a door into the toilet
People will probably be able to give you rough costs for the things that you'll need a tradesman to do, like moving a boiler.
For a lot of the rest of it it's how long is a piece of string.
Much of it depends on how much of the work you're prepared to do yourself. For example putting up a partition wall isn't particularly hard.
You could do the kitchen from as little a £1000 if you sourced and fitted the units yourself, but rising steeply for getting it fitted for you.0 -
hehe....yep...missed those doors
I'm not very skilled at anything DIY related so was hoping tradesmen and fittes could do it all for me.0 -
