Hi all.
Sorry if I have posted to the wrong forum, this looked most appropriate.
I have had credit problems in the past and decided to check my credit report. I have a default on my name which I do not belive should be there!
How is the best way about getting it removed?
Many thanks

I'm not sure which forum that this should be in tbh, but I had a similar issue. As far as I know the only person that can remove the default is the company that placed it. Get in touch with Experian or whichever report that this default is on and let them know you are disputing it - they have to investigate the reason you want it removed. Then get in touch with the company that placed the default with a reson why they should remove it. I had an issue for 3 years I didn't know about with a catalogue I had never opened for an address I'd never lived in. It took me a lot of investigation work to get this default removed, but I spoke to Experian and to the catalogue who investigated with their fraud department. I had to prove where i was living and spoke to the police (waste of time)
I hope that helps a little?Wage Day Advance, Quick Quid, Pounds to Pocket and Pounds Till Payday....i'm after you0 -

Hi there
Hope this is sorted out for you soon.
I think maybe "Neverindoubt" should be able to advise you best with this, and think maybe you will find them on the above DebtFreeWannabe thread, also the loans thread.
Please post back up if you have any problems, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
