Help conecting a laptop to my wireless please

hi guys need some help please
daughter just back from uni and we need to get her laptop connected to my wireless which i use on my lap top and the desk top.
i thought all we had to do was click on available conections and mine is on the list but when she clicks on chooses that wireless conection she obviously is unable to because mine is a secure network
i will need a security key or a pass phrase and dont know how to get this
any help please ?

is it printed on the bottom of the router?
it should be a WPA code, but it may be WEP but in which case i'd advise upgrading it to WPA as WEP can be hacked easily.0 -

most routers (supplied by ISP's) have it printed on the bottom of the router, otherwise you'd access the web admin panel by http://192.168.0.10

Well unless its a BT Homehub you entered it so you should know it. Failing that, you're going to have to log on to the router, go to the wireless settings and get it from there. Read the manual, it'll tell you how.0 -
thank you guys its sorted i knew i had to get to the wireless router page to get the key just didnt know how to page it up
