  • x-factor as with many other programs on tv are crap i sit there sometimes watching the dribble on tv and think why the hell am i paying for a tv licence when there's nothing interesting informative appart from the news ofcourse.

simon used allot of tricks to get his potential finalists and olly through to the final stages i distinctaivly heared ollys voice as backing vocals a few weeks ago in one of his performances i thought they had to sing solo that was the rules wasnt it correct me if i'm wrong but it had to be thier performance not pre recorded and spruced up something stupid. we all know the last three or four will have a recording contract out of it so whats the point in x factor as theres only supposed to be one winning a recording contract, i'm not a lover of tv my partner has it on i catch little bits here and there and i told her who was going to win weeks ago. why take it to a contestants hometown if only to gain more votes and it being swayed oneway? sorry but the tv licencing should be paying us to watch this rubbish.

The point of X Factor is to give talented people the start they need in their careers, and if it turns out that more than one talented person gets a recording contract out of it, I don't see any harm in that.

Maybe you would like it better if the winner got a £1million recording contract whilst the runner up got a kick in the face live on TV?

thanks for all your comments! I really dont care who wins tonight anyway - the best ones went weeks ago! but i was hoping for some entertainment - not watching some silly bint get pushed around in a crowd all screaming out for the local one. oh - and i am getting really fed up of them (the judges) always using michael jackson or george michael songs! at this rate i doubt if i will watch next year.

Funny thing was when they had a George Michael night only three of the five contestants sang George Michael songs, one sang an Elton John song and one sang a Bonnie Raitt song. I'm sure there must be more than three well known George Michael songs .

Yes it's sony - but thats not the point here. The point of the campaign is to get a 'real' song to christmas number 1 - A song people wrote themselves, a song people took time to produce.

Sure it's not to everyone's tastes but quite frankly I'll buy anything to stop the bland, pre-produced, soul-less x-factor tosh getting to number 1.

    Why not? .......

All right maybe they're not all right, but if fifteen million people enjoy a TV show then it cant be that bad, surely? Last night there were eighteen million people watching.

They are if the other 45 million think otherwise !

45 & 15 making 60 million people in GB right? Now consider the millions of people at work on a Saturday or Sunday night who can't watch. There would have probably been over twenty million watching last night! :D

I sort of agree and disagree. The lad Joe who won it does have a superb singing voice, he just needs something decent to sing now. Sadly the 'song' isn't, which is a real pity I think.

According to The Sun today (yeah OK, I know) the winning single will able for download from Amazon and Tesco for 29p. And apparently any downloads sold for less than 40p don't get counted in the charts! So if you do know someone who wants this be sure to point them in the direction of Amazon or Tesco.
