Asda reduced petrol

Looked on websites before setting off and decided where I was going to buy the petrol today and found that Asda was 103.9p, drop 2p or 3p. Still extortionately priced like other places but at least Asda seem to drop the price occasionally.
Most of the other cheapest ones in our area are 105.9/106.9p in even updated on PetrolPrices.com yet.

Just said on the news that Tesco will drop by 3p too...
In time for the VAT rise in Jan to bump it up again!!!0 -
Might have bought petrol from Tescos if they had been first to drop their prices (rather than have to match) when I bought by bottles of 70cl Jack Daniels (£12.50 each ).
edit: they hadn't dropped their price when I was down there before going to asda.
edit2: 109.9p??? don't get that even at the handy local garage. Although Yorkshire is supposed to be the cheapest areas for petrol.0 -
I'm in a small town in Lancashire and it's 110.9p here!!!!!! We go out of town for petrol and usually pay 105.9p0

Long way to go!!0 -
petrolprices.com is no longer a good source of where the cheapest fuel is, its something days out of date and soley relies on information from fuel card holders.
Looks like ASDA & Tesco have only dropped the price of petrol though & not diesel, either way its a short term thing which will fizzle out when VAT goes back up on 1st Jan0
