BG Energy Smart Help Please

:xmassign:
Hi My ds is with Atlantica for her gas and elec she wants to move and was looking at the above. Does anyone know what their tariffs are please compare to Atlantica. She was looking at Scottish Power who wanted her to pay £70 per mnth dd there is only herself and her 8 yr old son so she probably would not use the amount she is paying for.

Thanks:beer::santa2:

    She should use the comparison sites in the resource bar above to see who is cheapest for her.
    All tariff details are provided by them when quoting a price :)

    She needs the annual consumption in kWh, not what she pays by DD.

    Her monthly DD should be 1/12 of the annual cost.

    Be especially careful when comparing against atlantic. Some sites include the 'free month' after 12 months as an 8.5% discount, whilst others ignore it.

    Atlantic offer their customers a discount equivilent to 1 months usage after having made 12 monthly payments by DD.

    Some comparison sites don't include this discount in their total cost (as it only applies after each 12 months) whilst others do by calling it an 8.5% discount for paying by DD (8.333% actually) which is not really a true reflection. i.e. if you pay for 10 months by DD and then switch, you obviously don't get any discount.
