Is this a good deal on a Corsa?

I have been looking around for a while now for a brand new car, and can take advantage of the scrappage scheme.

I have been offered a cash price deal of 8,590 GBP for a brand new, Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Active 5DR. (It has A/C, alloy wheels, front electric windows and mirrors, metallic paint and an MP3 CD player with an auxillary input).

I do understand that car prices have been inflated in line with the scrappage scheme, but seeing as though everyone has virtually done the same, there's no escaping it.

Views would be much appreciated about the above offer, and possibly any other deals you have come across recently. I can pay cash up to 8-9 grand, or can only do a 0% interest deal (religious reasons).

Hmmm, its the same one. Possibly cheaper as it might not include metallic paint? Thanks for the link though!

Not one to usually bang the AC drum due to the mixed reviews but they can be cheap and have one which seemingly is a similar spec at £7500
