in Credit cards
I've only had my very first credit card two months and already I'm loosing patients. Twice this week i have tried to log onto my account manager and not being able to because of a temporary error on line please try again later.
I'm also not to impressed that the call centre is in India or Pakistan our so it sounds like it is. I much prefer English based call centres so they can understand you when you talk to them. However the card is run by santander a Spanish bank[i think] so i think having an English call centre is bottom of their list.
Is it easy to cancel a credit card and get another one almost straight away.

Your losing patients? Sounds like your in the same boat as the NHSCredit card and overdraft at 18. 2 loans and 3 storecards at 20. University education flushed down the toilet through debt at 22. Car finance at 23. Car repossessed at 24. Rock bottom at 25. Learnt my lesson 26-33. Now 34 with a mortgage on an affordable house, a car paid for with cash and a bank account in credit. I learnt the hard way.0

Irony on toast anyone? With that sort of punctuation and poor grammar, i am not surprised the call centre cannot understand a word you are saying. :rotfl:
Every forum has one don't they. It use to be just the village idiot. Now in the day of the Internet there is one on every forum. Most of them are called Simon too.
Back on topic. My credit rating is very good Mozette so thanks for the advice.0 -
Another would be grammar Nazi who needs to sort out their own mistakes first:rolleyes:
I have found this thread somewhat entertaining to say the least.
One clear mistake with your sentence is the fact that you used "who" instead of "whom".Irony on toast anyone? With that sort of punctuation and poor grammar, i am not surprised the call centre cannot understand a word you are saying. :rotfl:
You failed to capitalise your "i". Your grammar is shockingly terrible.
I think we've figured out that no one is perfect when it comes to grammar and punctuation. Lets not hijack the thread. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Lets not hijack the thread.
I agree.
(Let's, not lets. Would-be, not would be).:cool:0 -
Actually you're incorrect by saying "Let's".
Let's is a contraction of "let us".
It would be incorrect to use "Let's" in my sentence of "Lets not hijack the thread".
It would be completely correct and you know it.
"Let us not hijack the thread". You put that in your post and then edited it out when you realised it made complete sense, I saw that. EDIT: And now you removed your post

I removed my previous post for my own reasons.

Oh the brilliant irony of moaning about the lack of an English call centre.
Shouldn't be allowed to have a CC in my opinion.0 -
Oki lets cut the humour and get down to the fact that the ASDA credit card is a donkey. It has changed from GE Capital to Santander in the last few months but it seems no matter who runs this card the same issues arise. The online banking section has suffered from numerous logging in problems. The direct debit system has a habit of taking your full balance when ever it feels like it.Credit card and overdraft at 18. 2 loans and 3 storecards at 20.
