Mobile internet question. Its a hard one. I'm stumped.

I'm connecting to the internet via my 3 mobile phone. I've been happily browsing for 2 months( well i've had a few issues but no major problems)
Anyway, since the other day every time I go to Ebay, I get redirected to the mobile site. Any ideas on how to stop it doing that? Its only Ebay so far( that i know) thats doing it.

Ebay probably detects the web browsers useragent from the phone instead of the desktop browsers useragent.

is there a link anywhere to say permanently disable the mobile version of this site (like wikipedia does)?
  • No theres no link . its just ebay thats doing it, on my phone, on opera mobile it does it with bebo aswell but not when its plugged into the laptop.

The ebay site thinks that you're accessing directly from the mobile phone. I suspect you need to change the user-agent settings of whichever browser is baked into your mobile phone.

Try googling your phone model and "change user-agent"
