I'm not transferring to psp though:D

Im ripping dvd's to my pc to either store there or on my NAS box to then stream to my ps3. I will leave things as they are for now as to rip them does not take too long. I wanted to convert them to a different file type as the way the video_ts file is displayed its hard to tell whats what, compared to divx (avi) files which are 1 file instead of the loads you get with video_ts;)

Thanks again Donnie for your help:T

Ripping with Magic DVD Ripper does create a single .avi file if that is what you choose. It has a built in MPEG4 codec, but if you wish to add a more versatile codec, install Koepi's XviD CoDec. Then when you choose MPEG4/XviD/AVI within Magic Dvd Ripper as your output, you will have more control as to the size and quality of your 'rip'.

  • well, i know a good tool can can work for u. Pavtube DVD Ripper can help u decrypt and convert dvd at the same time. It can convert dvd to mp4,avi in a fast speed, and these generated files can surely be supported by your ps3.
