That ain't creeping!
They are 2 things that jump out at me as significant! Now I might be totally barking up the wrong tree but it's all about whats in the eye of the beholder. In my honest opinion! :think:0 -
Do I need to ask which 2?
Most of them where a bitto me did like the landscape ones and the one with the picture of the angel at the end of the room.

Picture number 3 interests me. The other 2 pictures show families outside their homes where as number 3 has a single man, and it's far more zoomed in on the house than the other 2 pictures! What does this represent?
Also you have photographed new build houses only! Any particular reason for this?
Hey hey! Thanks for your waffling, you have some interesting thoughts!
I know what you mean about the woman on her own (but she'll be delighted to know she looks like a man :rotfl: ), she doesn't quite fit with the family ones. I decided to include her, though, because I wanted to reflect that its not just families that live on this development. In the complete set of images (10) there are more that aren't families, not just her. She did actually live with her husband but he didn't want to be in the pic!! It seems as though that one is more zoomed in on the house but its mostly because they've been cropped slightly for the website  When I took them I tried to get the houses about the same size in the image and to make sure I included all the boundaries of the property, so obviously the slightly smaller houses might seem more zoomed in. When they're on the wall they don't look different but I can see how they do on the website:mad:
I've only photographed new build because the project was based on a development near my parents' house. I began by feeling quite strongly about the political and environmental aspect of it (built on green fields etc) and the way the houses are designed. Its not that I dislike them as such, rather that I think its worth questioning the design of modern houses and whether they are really the best we can do in many ways, hence the accompanying text. As it developed it became less and less about that development in particular and the ideas could apply to any similar place, which is why I didn't mention the place they're taken.
