There are two properties I am potentially interested in putting an offer in for...
but I wonder if I am liking these as there isnt much out there... would it be better to wait til January? do you think there would be more choice after xmas?

Sounds like neither is your ideal choice.
Personally I would wait. If you've viewed plenty of houses, then when the right one comes along you'll know instantly.0 -
If there are two and you're only potentially interested ... then why not wait until you fall in love with one at some future point.0
