Webspace help

I currently only use my ISP's webspace to store a few images and some photos.
The thing is the number of photos I'm putting on are increasing, but I only have them in a list that you have to click through to view. The names used are only those from either the camera they came from or the CD from the developed film (yes I'm still using a normal 35mm camera).
What I'd like to do is to have the photos in thumbnails so they're easier to browse through.
What's the easiest and/or best way to do this?
TIA.

in terms of webspace id recommend streamline.net - i currently pay 45 quid a year for unlimited webspace and bandwidth, i use my space for web development and very heavy duty websites, but they do a cheaper version which would suit your needs well.
Thumbnails are easy enough, simply create a table and put a smaller version of the photo onto it. Use frontpage, but if you can use dreamweaver.
If you wanted a really cool looking glossy gallery, learn Flash
but for soemthing basic, a table would be fine, and you could either hyperlink the thumbnail photo to another page with the photo, or you could set up an iframe so you click the thumbnail and the photo appears on the page without removing the menu.
If you dont know how to use Frontpage or similar i can create you a basic HTML code to use with a iframe, and just point out where to put the photos file path.
hope this helps

you should be able to use something like photobucket.com which will let you upload upto 1gb of photos, and let you link to them on webpages etc.

Thanks for the advice guys.
The photos are only for friends and family so bandwidth usage isn't an issue.
I also wanted to stick to my own webspace so I didn't want to use a site like Photobucket or Flickr.
I asked the same question on another forum and someone recommended JAlbum. It's very easy to use and it was free too.Dave. :wave:0
