what to claim after ssp ends?

Hi, my boyfriend has been off sick from work since July after a motorbike accident. His sick pay is due to end soon - what can he claim after this - is it incapacity benefit? Will a Doctor's note be ok to claim this or does he need more proof/documents?

I he hasn't claimed Incapacity before the new benefit he needs to claim is Employment and Support Allowence (its taken over IB as the sickness benefit now)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
