Is this a fair quote to fit 2 Velux windows in a pitched slate roof of a kitchen. Windows are 780mm x 980mm and building tunnel to windows from flat kitchen ceiling. £1900, any electrical work would be additional. Building can start immediately so any advice greatly appreciated.Thanks.

Are the windows being supplied by you or is that price for supplying and fitting? If it is for supply and fit do you know what type of velux windows they are, e.g. the code for them? Or if not are they Openable and if so are they top hung or middle?Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death.

The builder is supplying, unsure of openings[needed for natural light only], size 780mm x980mm. Just a bit cautious as it's a chuck out of a redundancy payment being used.0

Always a good idea to get a couple of quotes to compare, don't tell them what you have already been quoted and see what they come up with!0
