i was talking about the premier direct account paying 6% but with no £100 switching bonus.

Thanks all, I suspected it was one or t'other. Was going to go through TopCashBack anyway, an extra little sweetener. Will have a look into it.

Go through Topcashback to the Premier for the £50, switch one DD for the £100, once both have cleared ring A&L and swap to the Premier Direct for the 6% interest. I have done exactly that and am quids in!

Sounds like a good plan! Just signing up to the Premier Current Account for teh £100 now. How long did you leave it before you called and switched to the Premier Direct Current Account? Did you wait until they had given you the £100 (how long did it take) or did you just switch as soon as you had moved one of your DDs?

I've signed-up for the Premier Current account last week. AFAIK the £100 bonus offer expires today, but at what time I don't know, and to qualify for the bonus you need to transfer at least £500 into the account within 11 weeks of opening, which is paid within 3 months of opening. You also need to fund the account with at least £500 per month, but it is a bit more flexible than some of these offers in that you only need to transfer direct debits and not your salary to the account, so it is pretty 'playable' for the bonus and any cashback!

Yeah yesterday was the last day for the cashback, and I don't know waht time either. I signed up in the evening, will get an email back today to find out if they've accepted me or not. Hopefully the £100 is still payable on APPLICATIONS submitted yesterday and not on account actually opened by yesterday... :S I transfered my deirect debits and elft the salary as it was, I just plan on moving money about myself.

Just hope the sign up is mine!

Sorry, back again!

Getting mail from them now... The Travel Insurance form tates that my cover starts as of 17/12/09, clearly 4 days after the 13th which is when the £100 sign up money was open until.

Does anyone know if the £100 sign up is given depending on when you apply, or when they accept and open an account for you?
