Spotify has today launched Spotify Open, which is like Spotify Free but you don't need an invite, but you can only listen for 20 hours per month.

I have a spotify account (free) and unfortunately they no longer give us the 5 free invites a month that they used to. you need a premium (paying) account to get invites now according to the invite page on their website. This is why their invites have recently gone scarce on forums.

If you google 'free spotify codes' there are sometimes random special offers run by other websites and businesses which give out free codes.

I have read that some businesses still get codes to give out, I don't know if that is correct.
If anyone does come across a code they could share by pm with me please, I would be very grateful for your help. Thank you.

Me too - if anyone has a spare code, I'd be very very grateful. I've been using my mum's account for a while, but since I'm going away to uni this October, I obviously won't be able to use her account anymore.
