But if you look in the comments under the post you will see a couple of sites selling them quite cheap.

The reason why invites are so hard to come across is because you only get invites to share with people if you have a premium (paid) Spotify Account.

This is not correct - whilst newer free members cannot get invites, some older members have had them at various times (my last two were within the past month, but gone now ).
