Free xmas cards from Vistaprint

Hi, did anyone else take advantage of the free cards from Vistaprint? Mine arrived today and I must admit i'm rather disappointed. I know I probably deserve to be as they were free but I wish they would make things clearer. The cards are literally a piece of card with print on each side rather than a folded card. So basically they don't stand up, I suppose they'll look ok if you use a card holder of some description!
I went back to check the website and it does say "front of card" and "back of card" I just assumed they would be normal cards.
Also when trying to order the cards they try to sell you absolutely everything and sting you on postage. Just thought I'd let you all know what to expect if you were thinking of ordering, enough of a moan, they were free I guess! lol

I have had them the past 2 years..... I ended up ordering one of the 'postcard' sets. I agree they aren't that great but I have sent them to people I don't really know but need to send them a card. My other sets of cards with the cartoon images on are fab and I always enjoy peoples responses when they open the envelopes. Will be ordering next year again.Sealed Pot Challenge - No 1520Want to be debt clear by June 2012:j0

There's nothing wrong with the quality or the colours just wish I had noticed that they do "Christmas cards" and "Christmas Folded cards". lol0

yes I was concerned after reading that but didn't see it until today, it is an old topic though so I'm hoping they no longer have that problem, I shall soon find out but I definitely didn't sign up for anything like that. I'd be surprised that they're in MSE weekly newsletter if they do take money without permission.0

This happened to me too. I didnt realise the freebies were postcards!! The ones I paid for though were really nice, I got 40 personalised for £13 so Iwas very happy with that. Although, had I known about the freebies I would have ordered another 10 of the paid for design.0

MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies.
