  • How about a smart but comfortable skirt & jacket combo?
    ...Linda xx
    No jacket.
I have a Tesco skirt. :rotfl:
  • No idea what position Pookie. I think they are still assessing people as to what they can do.
I was due to have hair cut and coloured Wed am - moved it to Tues am. Daft I know but I will feel better for having no roots. Have left it too long as broke.

Wearing Tesco clothes would be a smart move actually!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I'm sure they'll snap you up Bookie - but yes, having your hair done always makes you feel better.....I've noticed far to many grey ones popping up lately....think I need to treat myself to a colour.......or a felt pen :D

  • Lou ~ Sorry to hear about your Mum. I hope the outcome is ok or at least something that can be treated. *hugs* to you, your Mum and all the females in your family.

SRM ~ So sorry about your diagnosis, I hope its doesnt get any worse. However if it does I hope the pain is manageable :D

Bookie ~ :j Woo hoo, good luck with it...:j

Well I am now sat downstairs in front of the fire :j Having just comsumed a kfc, cocacola and a huge bar of dairy milk  Me and Mum had a bit of a discussion (mainly me putting my views across) about lil bro/dog/money etc so that was a piece offering. Needed it though...

Now we are ready for the xfactor final... :T

    EVENING ALL -

    oooops! sorry shouting!

First things first! Bookie, well done hun! that's the difficult part overwith, getting thru the ruddy application is a chore.... no doubt about it they will snap you up from interview, you're a intelligent classy smartly presented woman and would be an asset to them, they'll see that as sure as i do!

    Hi all else!

today we had a long lie til almost 10am, brill... then trip to Post Office a 5 mile run and have spent the afternoon nattering with my mum and sister while stripping the kitchen wallpaper...

I'm still in my running kit mind you, so am a bit stinky!

Off for a bath.... erin is happily wrapping her own friends presents, and writing her own labels, another wee step away from my apron strings! it's all signs of growing up, eh!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Even better to use it to illustrate the point that the products are value for money!

  • Sounds like a great day Maz-I had a massive nap today, it was sooooo lovely.

the inlaws came round to take the kids out to Bridgnorth today-just dropped them off and find out that they had a little 'birthday' party for DD (birthday is Thurs) with SIL and her son...is it normal I feel a bit put out?
