advice needed on housing

hi every one i have just split up with my ex partner whom i have 18 month old daughter shes staying with partner i am now living with parents im 25 in auigust and there basicly hinting i should leave and get my own place
i am worried i wont be able to afford it just wondering what i am entitled to
i work part time job at 20 hours and making £430 pound a month after taxsometimes i get overtime but very rarely a extra one shift and im also self employed but im not making anything yet and dont for a while
i worked out bout £1000 pound a month i would need to run a place thats with full rent and councill tax and some debt and maintnence as well as other bills included in that figure
just wondering what help i would be entitled to thanks scott

If you can get custody and claim child benefit, then you claim WTC/CTC, otherwise you would need to be working 30hrs + and over 25yrs,to get WTC only.
Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit seem to be benefits that you would get paid on an income of around £200 p/w, its worth filling in the forms and applying to your local council - the worst they coudl say is No.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0 -
