Sanyo HDMI not working

Got a new Sanyo 1080p tv today model number ce32FD90-B
just tried to plug my ps3 into it and the hdmi doesnt work, i have tried it in all 4 hdmi slots. Everything else works, VGA, scarts, built in freeview etc. Its not the cable as it is working on my other TV?
Can anyone help.

    If the signal entering the tv is too weak then it 'might' not be able to process the information (ie, even though it worked on one tv, if the cable is near its 'cliff edge' then it might not work on another tv)

  • Thanks have just tried it back on my other TV and it isnt working so hopefully it is the cable. Have orddered another one now so hopefully will fix the problem
