xmas benefit payment advice please?

Hi just wondered if people know if christmas/new year dates might affect my payments?
i get tax credits on thursdays
child benefit on mondays but it shows in my account on saturdays
and also if my wages are paid on a friday would they go in early or does it depend on individual companies??

Yes they are affected by bank holidays. They will be paid earlier rather than later.0

You'd need to check with your individual employer about holiday pay dates. My pay day is normally 'last Friday of the month', but this month, that happens to be on the 18th. OH's pay day is always the 25th, so his will go in on the 23rd. Just remember though - you'll have a longer wait till your next one.....instead of having four weeks and a few days, I'd have a good six weeks to my next pay day, except that our employer will also pay early in January - to make the long wait average out over the next two months.0

28th December 2009 (bank holiday) Date your payment will be made 24th December 2009
29th December 2009 (NI ONLY) Date your payment will be made 24th December 2009
1st January 2010 (New Year's day) Date your payment will be made 31st December 2009
4th January 2010 (Scotland ONLY) Date your payment will be made 31st December 2009
