    spider man
    mario kart
    wacky races
    sonic heroes
    shadow the hedgehog
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

  • star wars rogue squadron would this be too difficult to play for a 7 year old
  • Star Fox Adventure is pretty good, IIRC

Wind waker, twilight princess, doshin the giant, mario kart, pikmin 1 and 2, harvest moon magical melody, chibi robo, Metroid Prime (1 and 2), Luigi's mansion, super mario sunshine, sonic mega collection, the donkey konga games (so long as they have the bongos) Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2 and Smash Brothers Melee. If he's into RPGs, Tales of Symphonia and the baten kaitos series are pretty good, too.

As for "is it too difficult for a 7 year old"?

Sadly, 7 year olds are likely the best age to play any game (difficulty wise). They have great reflexes and adaptability that surpass most adults.

Avoid shadow the hedgehog, though. It's awful.

The best way to find out what games are good or not is metacritic.

    http://www.metacritic.com/games/cube/scores/

This site collects reviews from many different sources and collates it into one score out of 100. Basically, anything in the green is likely worth getting (assuming it's suitable, age-wise). Any doubts, read the reviews.
