Equifax yearly subscription charged despite cancellation request

in Credit cards
I signed up to the Equifax free trial on 7th November to check my credit report. Approx 2 weeks later I sent an email through the internal messaging system in order to cancel my subscription. I forgot about it until today when I noticed a £69.99 charge on my credit card on 7th December. I never had an email back about the cancellation, and my message no longer shows up in the internal messaging system (i'm 100% sure it was sent as it went through to the final confimation screen).
Anyone else had this happen? Is there anything I can do?

The only way to cancel is by phone.0

You can cancel through the internal messaging system too. Instructions are in the FAQs and i've read reports on here of people doing it that way.0

I had this issue too.
I called them up and explained, they refunded the money and cancelled the subscription.
Just give them a call.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
