Am i right in thinking that if you list something on Ebay as a buy it now only, you don't get charged the 10% final value fee?

If so, does anyone know what the actual % fee is for Buy it Nows?

    For Private sellers its
9.9% of the amount of the final selling price up to £49.99

    Then up to £600 its
9.9% of the initial £49.99 (£4.95) + 5.9%of the remaining balance of the final selling price

If they collect the item, cash on collection and end the listing early as item no-longer for sale if no bids on it.

    Save on the FVF's. :)

I did it recently, listed item on eBay for £1000, buyer came to view. Left deposit. Buyer appeared with cash, and paid me £960 in all.

He said to me to do it that way, as i save cash on eBay FVF and Paypal fee's.

He was right, it would of cost me £56 in extra fee's on that transaction.

You should avoid Paypal for collection items anyway as it leaves you open for a claim of non receipt and a chargeback
