At the moment im on maternity leave and im getting £400pm SMP. CTC and CB total too £160pm.
But when I go back to work I'll only be working 10 hours a week which is £229pm (I could probably get an extra 5 hours but as it's a nightclub the hours are varied and rare)
I can't claim Income support as OH works, so I was wondering if anything will with the CTC as im earning less?
Also last tax year we had a combine income of 26k now it's 16k, but will go down too 14k in feb/march when Im back at work and OH takes a pay cut.

Heya, As your income has reduced significantly (from the figures you have given) you will be entitled to more child tax credits and as long as you or your partner's working hours are 16 or more you may qualify for a little working tax credits too.
I would give them a call and update the income so that your pymts can increase. XX0 -
hmm, your earnings where over 25k last year so you may not get an increase on CTC and i dont think ull get much if anything in the way of working tax credits. BUT dont qoute me on this, i would jus phone up HMRC11K Challenge
