Hiya
I know this is a subjective kinda question, but i'm swimming in a see of TVs and reviews and want some 'real' peoples advice.
My budget is £600-800 depending on what I get for my money. What I want is this:
37-40" LCD TV
Full HD
100+Hz
Good upscaler (I've got a lot of DVDs!)
Decent for games (but not vital as I watch more TV than I play games)
3+ HDMI slts
2+ Scarts
Any advice greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Tim

Id buy this ~
http://www.cheapelectricals.co.uk/acatalog/Sony_KDL40W5810_40___Full_HD_1080_LCD_TV_with_integrated_freesat__sony_kdl-40w5810u_.html
(Ive recently used them and theyre fine to use so long as the item IS IN STOCK)
Its 40" 1080P 100Hz (Sonys are renowned for having some of the smoothest screens)
VERY good upscaler (Its actually better than my dvd player which im quite shocked at)
GRAPHICS mode for low lag online gaming
4 HDMI and 2 SCARTS
It also has inbuilt freesat (If you dont want/need it then you can get the w5500 model which is cheaper)
VERY deep blacks (For an LCD). Very high contrast levels and an awesome digital engine (most tvs have problems showing various 'patterns' onscreen)
Use these settings as a base point if you do buy it ~

Is the W5500 identical in every way apart from the Freesat? We have Sky and will be upgrading to SkyHD so wouldnt need the Freesat

Yes it is, the only difference is the freesat
