Transcoded files cache

I've treesized my hard drive and found 350mb of transcoded files cache within media player.
Anyone know what this is and can I get rid of it????

Go to the player's menu bar, (maybe it's wmp) choose Tools->Options->Devices and hit the 'Advanced' button at the bottom.
It (should) lists where the transcoded files are stored temporarily and there should be a button to 'Delete Files'.0
