Welcome Finance and PPI

Through this website and sending the letter template today I have received a letter back from Welcome Finance. To say that they are restructing the loan to not include the PPI or any of the added crap that I wasn't told in the phone call when I went for the loan. I know I am two months behind which no doubt they will take off when the refund is due, But I have worked it out I have paid over £2000 and I am nearly half way into a three year loan.
So I have to wait for the loan papers to be sent to me again to be signed. So hopefully I might get these hopefully tomorrow or next week to get them sent back to them to get it all sorted out.
Any way I would like to Thank Martin and the people helping him to run this website for the help. It is so full of information and if it wasn't for Martin or this website I wouldn't have known what to do.

Hello and welcome.;)
Well done to you.
Yes they do normally do that, and the remainder of it should be refunded directly to you with interest as well.
Good luck and hope you receive this very soon.

Hi, if this was that they agree with the misselling then they should actually return all the PPI you have paid and also take the remaining PPI and interest off the loan and the loan should remain over the same terms and APR. Also what about the 8% statutory interest? Did you ask them for this? If it was goodwill then make sure they are repaying all the above also and if they are not then you have to decide if you want to take this further.mickeybrad173 wrote: »Through this website and sending the letter template today I have received a letter back from Welcome Finance. Be VERY careful about what you're signing; make sure you read the contract thoroughly as Welcome are well known for creating new agreements which cost the customers more in the end.
