An old leather sofa is becoming very soft. where is cheapest place to buy 3 piece sofa support? or what type of wood do i need if i just add some some support?

all depends on the internal construction.
some use webbing straps and others use springs. some even use wood.
if you wanted to use wood, then plywoood would be ok, but you may find it too hard.
maybe hardboard is better as you can use extra/less layers of HB to regulate the hardness.

current sofa is of wooden frame with material covering, and the sofa cushions sit between the frame supports.all depends on the internal construction.

cant remember what i used last time i did this for someone, probably 3mm or 6mm ply.Get some gorm.0
