Good Morning All,
To keep you all informed and keep the hope alive.
I have successfully had 3 loans with MBNA complanits for mis-sold insurance upheld and am awaiting there figures and the money anytime in the next week, fingures crossed.
I was just wondering if anybody could advise me how much I can accept to recieve for the loan below, as MBNA are saying they are unable to to provide a copy of the original agreement.
The loan advance was for £6500 in Sept 2004.
Monthly payments were £189.92 for 48 months at an interest rate 8.9%. The total amount repayable was £9141.16.
Can any of you help and advise me of how much would of been ppi, so I can ensure they dont try and offer a lower amount. They have also said they will pay 5% intrest.
Many thanks in anticipation.
Kind Regards, Keep trying it really can happean.:T:T:T

I'm hopeless at working out calculations, but bumping this up for someone who has good knowledge of workings out.
You could if you wanted to post this one on the above reclaiming discussion thread, maybe Marshallka or Tiggrae will take a look for you.;)
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Looks like on the one above your PPI was about £1150.00 added to the loan so your PPI element of the repayments was 15.03% (being 1150 divided by 7650) so it would have been £28.54 a month. If you paid the loan off at the actual date and not early then you would get back the £1369.92 which would have been PPI and interest in total. If you have it still running it should be 28.54 x by how ever many months you have paid it and the rest taken off the loan and new repayments etc to reflect. If it was paid off early then it would be the £1369.92 less how ever much you had rebated for paying it off early.Good Morning All,

Marshallka - would the £1150 include additional charges (such as arrangement fee etc.) ?:AIgnorance can be cured, but stupid is forever!:A
Please note: Nothing that I post constitutes professional financial or legal advice.0 -
No Paul, it would be just the PPI I would think.;) (or at least whatever extra was charged on top of the loan ASSUMING it all PPI).PaulinWeston wrote: »Marshallka - would the £1150 include additional charges (such as arrangement fee etc.) ?0 -
Many Thanks for your help.
The 1st loan was for £3000 and I was paying 130.00 a month I think for 3 years but carnt find any of the info and are waiting for MBNA to come back to me.
The 3rd loan PPI was £4160 on top of the £21,000 loan I had, I do however have 10 payments left of £680.21 out of 48 on this one including this month.
I'm just hoping that all 3 claims add up to enough to wipe out my remaining debt. Fingures crossed.
Thanks for your help.

Hi All,
Just a quick note to keep you all upto date.
As all my above posts, i'm just waiting for 3 loan ppi calculaions which they should of sent me a letter by no later than the 21st December, 2009. So i've phoned them today just to see if they had the figures, hopefully to spend a little extra for christmas.
The lady on the phone from MBNA was very rude from the start of the conversation and said they hadn't even started to look at the claims and they wouldn't be as the FOS had actually granted them now 10 weeks to respond due to the back log???????????????????????????????????
I was gob smacked and asked why no body has advised me of this previously as I have rung 3 times in the last week to see if they had started to look at my claims.
She then said that I would get a letter by the 18th Jan, 10 and the monies in no later than the 18th Jan, 10. I asked if they could send me a letter confirming everything she had said, she then put me on hold for a while only to return saying no, could she help me any further blah blah blah.
I then rang the FOS and spoke to a very nice lady called angie, who said they could help but it may put the whole process further down the line as they have such a large back log and it could take between 6 -18 months through them. She then advised me to wait until the 18th Jan, 10 proir to escalating the claim with them.
Has anybody else heard anything like the above. Any ideas if I can do anything to try and speed this me.
