Firstly - really sorry to hear your news TangledMemories - I know how you feel, my little pooch is my best friend and I'll be devastated when the time comes - so bigs ((((( )))))))
Also thanks for the congrats on the teaching thing - feel a bit flat today -think its the anticlimax of having got it out of the way.
Made myself buck up and after uni went Xmas shopping and have finished the lot!:T:T
Not a NSD today but did almost stick to budget and have most of teh cash in an Xmas account so only about £30 to find.
Today's little list...- Took breakfast to uni
- Bought sub of the day when out shopping to make the damage less
- Almost stuck to budget when shopping
- Bought a lovely top and trousers on 20% off day at Debenhams to wear Xmas day - will get lots of wear out of them though so a bargain really!
- Walk dog x2 for free exercise (done 2)
- Stay in tonight and have a rest and watch the soaps (think OH is going for a few pints with boys later so will have full telly control!)
- Write a teeny shopping list for bits we need before holiday - mainly milk, squash and a little bit of veg
- Transfer Xmas money to current account - done
- Pay CC bill - done
- Check survey balance

Hey guys
I echo what most people have already said... friday evening - finally!!
Today I:- had lunch at work for free - but I did have to cook a Christmas dinner for 40 people - and I'm a support worker and not a chef or cook!
- managed to grab loads of fresh fruit salad to take home - should last me the weekend!
- complained to tesco about my shopping not arriving last night and they gave me a £10 voucher - get in! Bloody annoying though as I have to go through the whole ordering process again!!
- checked online banking and it seems ok
- intended on not putting the heating on but have a friend coming over and don't want her to freeze - intention was there!
Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
