Capital One PPI reclaim

I have been asked to get proof of class 2 NI contributions for my self employed hubby is this normal or just a stalling process from Capital One. It seems that they are trying to be very awkward about things.

Its quite normal for a company to want proof (and to be awkward!)

  • I have had the same request from capital one I am a self employed builder and am trying to claim back the ppi payments on a credit card. They have made me a offer of giving me back half of my payments as a offer of good will., but I have declined there offer as as a self employed person the policy is no good for me. Have they made you any kind of offer. ?
  • We have had no offer as yet. I am going to write back to Cap One asking why they require this specific information as I feel that they are trying to put obstacles in the way and ask for proof of things that are not easily accessible.
