Bank of Scotland Easy Rate or Student Credit Card

Hi all,
I'm about to apply for a credit card as I'm switching banks to the Bank of Scotland. I'm currently a first year student and am wondering if I should apply for the Bank of Scotland Easy Rate Credit Card rather than the student one as it seems to be better. The APR is about half of what the student card is and there is no interest on purchases if I pay the balance in full and on time each month.
It definitely looks better than the student credit card, but the main question is would I get accepted if I am a student and if ive already got another credit card that I intend to close? Or should I stick to the student credit card?
Thanks,
Dex

If you are a student then apply for a student card.0

Why? It depends on whether or not you are eligible. The student product might be easier to get (which is why it has less favourable rates) have you asked BOS if you are preapproved for anything?Kavanne
