lidl do a few different types of supplements including a multi vitamin starting at around 89p for 30-60 capsules (depends on what you get) so if you have one they are definitely worth a look

aldi's may do them too but i can't say for certain, as for medicines from lidl i buy their loratadine (allergy) and their ibuprofen etc and they work well and are so much cheaper than anywhere else so i'd be inclined to trust their vitamins too
  • take a look at the web site vitaminD3world It is a good cheap supplier of vitamin D3 in a micro tablet formulation. They offer a deliery guarantee as their small bottles pass through customs without problems

I got some but they don't appear to be doing the BOGOF anymore. (I wasn't offered it anyway and no signage to that effect.) Still a reasonable price though.

They're doing the two for one again now.
  • I've bought vitamins and other supplements from ZipVit for a few years now. Some other brands of multivitamins with iron/minerals upset my stomach but the ones from ZipVit don't give me any problems.

I have always been told by doctors and nutritionists that vitamin pills are more of a placebo as you dont absorb the vitamins from them as you would fro food thus making them useless?

Maybe so. All the more reason not to spend a lot on them!
